Pakistan desires peace with all neighbours, says PM Shehbaz Sharif

Sharif extends hand of peace to India, Afghanistan and Iran

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that his country desires peace with all its neighbours, including India, Afghanistan and Iran.

Sharif made the remarks during an address to the nation on Monday. He said that Pakistan is committed to resolving all outstanding issues with its neighbours through dialogue and diplomacy. "We want to live in peace with all our neighbours," Sharif said. "We believe that peace is essential for the progress and prosperity of our region." Sharif's remarks come at a time of heightened tensions between Pakistan and India. The two countries have been engaged in a decades-long dispute over the Kashmir region.
